EERDE DROPZONE CLOSED
After about an hour the conditions did not improve.... narrowing the timeslot of the jump down to a minimum...
Half an hour later the jump was cancelled definitly... Sad for the organisation, who have been planning this for
years, like my friend Erwin Janssen, who was going to jump over his town in honor of Jacob Wingard, who was
killed in the Eerde Mill, just after Market Garden. Another jumper on board: the son of Bobby Hunter D/501.
