Luxembourg - Nocher-Dahl Roadside Monument

Along the road between Nocher and Dahl, in the footsteps of the German attack of January 1945, this monument honors the 'Blue Ridge' Men.

It is not the best preserved monument in the area, but it is a reminder of the men who lost their lives in the snowy hills in this area, in 1944-1945.

Above the plaque dedicated to the 80th Infantry Division, is another plaque reffering to local persons, KIA or MIA during WWII. Some in German service.

The monument is situated overlooking the area. Sloping hills, green fields and stretches of forrests. A majestic sight.
